If you are taking biology 321(entomology) right now, intend to take it next semester, or are just an insect lover, this website was made for you. There are lots of erroneous assertions regarding Biology 321. "it is a difficult class".."Most people fail"...  Well, like for any other of  your biology classes, you will need to show a minimum of dedication in order to pass the class, but it is really not that hard. And if you have gone this far, you sure can do it! However, if you have entomophobia (extreme fear of insects), you may need to take another class for your biology  electives. You are not only going to see insects in your book. You will have to catch, curate, and pin them.  The insect collection is 25% of your grade!!! 

This website is not a substitute of your class material. You will still need to study your slides. But when you  are done with each section, make sure you visit the website for extra explanations, beautiful illustrations, prep quizzes, and tremendous help identifying your insects.

Tips

• start early: before you know it, it is your first exam.
  
• On the first part of the class, make sure that you are able to identify all insects internal and external features: you will have to fill the blank on  drawings.
• Start collecting as soon as possible
• Identify your insects as you go, do not wait to do everything at the last minute. Identifying insects is time consuming.
• know order and family names of most common insects.
